Rodri Names Three Barcelona Standouts After Sevilla Win With Raphinha Praise Leading the Way

But when Rodri was asked to assess Barcelona’s standout performers, the Spain international did not simply focus on the match-winner.

Raphinha was the obvious first choice.

Rodri described the Brazilian as having been “differential” on the night, a fitting assessment given that all three Barcelona goals came from the captain.

The winger repeatedly caused problems for Sevilla and punished the hosts whenever space opened up, turning a difficult away fixture into another three-goal haul.

Lamine Yamal was the second player Rodri highlighted.

“Lamine was also very good, and Adeyemi, I really liked how he came on in the second half,” Rodri said.

Rodri also praised Gerard Martín after the defender replaced the injured Andreas Christensen, describing his performance as sensational.
