Tottenham Reach Agreement to Sign Omar Marmoush from Manchester City

The proposed deal will initially see Marmoush join Spurs on loan, with the transfer becoming permanent for a reported £50 million if certain conditions are met. The exact terms triggering the mandatory purchase are yet to be publicly detailed.

Marmoush has already given the green light to the move, having agreed to join Tottenham several days ago. He is expected to travel on Monday to complete his medical before the transfer can be formally confirmed.

Marmoush set for new challenge

Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 after an outstanding spell in the Bundesliga. He arrived at the Etihad with a reputation as a versatile forward capable of operating across the attacking line.

Although he has produced important moments for City, competition for places has limited his opportunities, particularly with Erling Haaland occupying the central striker position.

The Egyptian has reportedly agreed personal terms with Tottenham and is now set to begin a new chapter under Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi. Tottenham have been looking to add more attacking quality, with Marmoush viewed as a player capable of providing goals, pace and versatility.
