Ethan Nwaneri to Dortmund: Why Arsenal Are Sending Their Wonderkid to Germany

The agreement comes after Dortmund stepped up their pursuit of the 19-year-old as they searched for attacking reinforcements following Giannis Konstantelias' serious knee injury.

Why Arsenal Are Sending Nwaneri to Germany

Arsenal's decision is primarily about regular first-team football.

The Gunners have been reluctant to sell Nwaneri permanently and have been prioritising loan opportunities that can accelerate his development. The 19-year-old's pathway into Mikel Arteta's senior team has become increasingly crowded following the arrivals of attacking players such as Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke.
