Barcelona are reportedly preparing to sell Frenkie de Jong when the January transfer window opens, with the Catalan club said to have already set their financial demands for the midfielder.

According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Barça are looking for €50 million up front plus a further €15m in potential add-ons, meaning the total package could reach €65m.

The report claims sporting director Deco and president Joan Laporta are now looking for a buyer, with Barcelona particularly hopeful that a club from the Premier League or Saudi Pro League will make a move.

It would represent a major decision involving one of the most recognisable midfielders at Camp Nou.

Barcelona reportedly ready to move on De Jong

De Jong has been a key figure at Barcelona since arriving from Ajax in 2019, but his long-term future is now reportedly being questioned.

The 29-year-old extended his Barcelona contract through 2029 last year, and he remains one of the club's captains.
