Newcastle United Injury Crisis Deepens as Matthias Jaissle Confirms Four More Absences

The biggest concern is Elanga.

The Sweden international missed the Leeds defeat and was due to undergo an MRI scan on Thursday to determine the seriousness of the problem.

Jaissle admitted he was still waiting for clarity but stressed that Newcastle were hoping the injury was not serious.

The winger had made an encouraging start to life under the new head coach and has become an important part of Newcastle's attacking approach.
